Manchester Wedding Photography - Styal Lodge.
I hadn't shot a wedding a Styal Lodge before, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but it is a hidden gem! It is set within a golf course, but with a really rustic barn feel, complete with exposed beams.
I met Tanya there in the morning as they have a Bridal prep suite on site, which is a great well lit space with plenty of room for the bridal party, make-up artists and stylists etc. So I managed to capture some truly unique photographs of the preparations and the venue.
The ceremony room is just outside the bridal prep suite at Styal lodge, so we had to be extra careful in case any guest tried to sneak a peak of the bride before the ceremony!
When Tanya was ready, she headed around the back with her Bridesmaids and through the front door, as I headed through to get set-up.
The ceremony was very emotional and afterwards everyone headed outside for photographs and some amazing milk crate cocktails! There are some lovely gardens at the back of Styal Lodge, where we took the majority of the group photographs and then myself, Tanya and James were whisked away on a golf buggy!
A member off staff at Styal lodge had took us to the other side of the golf course, where there is a beautiful lake and fields. I managed to capture some romantic shots of the couple here, away from the guests, so they felt very relaxed.
Afterwards we headed back for the meal and speeches, before the venue was turned around for the night time with tea lights everywhere! It looked truly spectacular and I would recommend this venue to anyone.
